McGraw-Hill Financial's S&P Dow Jones Indices is making changes in a trio of its signature products.
After the close of trading Friday, the S&P 500 will include Pfizer spinoff Zoetis (NYSE: ZTS ) . The stock replaces First Horizon National (NYSE: FHN ) , which is to find a new home on the S&P MidCap 400.
In turn, it bumps QLogic (NASDAQ: QLGC ) from that index to the S&P SmallCap 600. Finally, QLogic's shift completely displaces Coldwater Creek (NASDAQ: CWTR ) , which will no longer be on the S&P SmallCap 600.
The changes have come about because of Pfizer's attempt to unload its 80% stake in Zoetis, and the pharma giant is offering investors the opportunity to trade Pfizer shares for Zoetis shares. Zoetis engages in the discovery, development, manufacture, and commercialization of animal health medicines and vaccines.
Additionally, in the press release announcing the news, S&P Dow Jones Indices said that "First Horizon's total market capitalization is more representative of the mid cap market space, and QLogic's total market capitalization is more representative of the small cap market space."

Drilling Fleet
The Company engaged in both types of drilling activity: floaters, including drillships and semisubmersibles, and jackups. Also included in its fleet is a swamp barge drilling unit. It categorized the drilling units of its fleet as High-Specification Floaters, consisting of its Ultra-Deepwater Floaters, Deepwater Floaters and Harsh Environment Floaters, Midwater Floaters, High-Specification Jackups, St! andard Jackups and a swamp barge. High-Specification Floaters are specialized offshore drilling units that it categorize into three sub-classifications based on their capabilities. Ultra-Deepwater Floaters are equipped with mud pumps and are capable of drilling in water depths of 7,500 feet or greater. Deepwater Floaters are generally those other semisubmersible rigs and drillships capable of drilling in water depths between 7,500 and 4,500 feet. Harsh Environment Floaters are capable of drilling in harsh environments in water depths between 10,000 and 1,500 feet and have displacement, which offers variable load capacity, more useable deck space and motion characteristics. Midwater Floaters are generally consists of those non-high-specification semisubmersibles that have a water depth capacity of less than 4,500 feet.
As of February 14, 2012, the Company�� fleet was located in the Far East (27 units), Middle East (16 units), West African countries other than Nigeria and Angola (14 units), United States Gulf of Mexico (13 units), United Kingdom North Sea (12 units), India (12 units), Brazil (10 units), Nigeria (10 units), Norway (eight units), Angola (four units), Australia (three units), the Mediterranean (two units), Canada (two units), and Romania (one unit).
Contract Drilling Services
The Company specializes in offshore drilling business with a particular focus on deepwater and harsh environment drilling services. Its contract drilling operations are geographically dispersed in oil and gas exploration and development areas throughout the world.
Drilling Management Services
The Company provides drilling management services primarily on a turnkey basis through Applied Drilling Technology Inc., its wholly owned subsidiary, which primarily operates in the United States Gulf of Mexico, and through ADT International, a division of one of its United Kingdom subsidiaries, which primarily operates in the North Sea (together, ADTI). There were plenty of winners and losers this week, with a consumer electronics retailer threatening to file for bankruptcy and the only satellite radio player in town boosting its subscriber guidance. Here's a rundown of the week's smartest moves and biggest blunders. RadioShack (RSH) -- Loser Things are starting to get dicey at RadioShack. The small-box retailer of mobile phones and other consumer electronic products warned that it could file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy if it isn't able to round up some more cash. RadioShack is weighing several options with third parties and stakeholders that include new investments, a restructuring or an outright sale of the chain. It's not a good place to be, especially since smoking out a buyer willing to pay a premium for the retailer at this point will be a colossal challenge. RadioShack needs more than just time and money to return to profitability. Apple (AAPL) -- Winner There were plenty of things that went wrong at Apple's iPhone unveiling. There were streaming issues for those viewing remotely. There wasn't availability information for the Apple Watch. U2's plan to release its new album to all iTunes owners for free backfired when many complained about not being able to easily get rid of the music. However, Apple still deserves to be a winner this week because it did live up to expectations of introducing two iPhone models that will be available next week, debunking the chatter that the larger iPhone 6 Plus wouldn't be ready to hit the market until several months later. DiGiorno Pizza -- Loser There seems to be a corporate giant making a social media blunder every week, and this time it was Nestle's (NSRGY) DiGiorno Pizza. The #WhyIStayed hashtag started trending when Twitter users began posting stories of domestic violence in light of the Ray Rice and Janay Palmer elevator video that went viral. This move is quickly pushing shares of MHGC within range of triggering a near-term breakout trade. That trade will hit if MHGC manages to take out Tuesday's high of $7.06 and then once it takes out more near-term resistance at $7.20 with high volume.
Traders should now look for long-biased trades in MHGC as long as it's trending above its 200-day at $6.41 and then once it sustains a move or close above those breakout levels with volume that hits near or above 196,219 shares. If that breakout triggers soon, then MHGC will set up to re-test or possibly take out its next major overhead resistance levels at $8 to its 52-week high at $8.15. Any high-volume move above those levels will then give MHGC a chance to tag its next major overhead resistance levels at $9 to $10.

Goodbye, Rat Pack and Guns N' Roses; hello, Marriott International (MAR). Gangsters and Guitarists Through a quirk of urban planning, the Strip -- a 1.6-mile stretch of Sunset Boulevard -- was part of unincorporated land within Los Angeles city limits (these days, it belongs to the micro-city of West Hollywood). As such, it was overseen not by the L.A. Police Department, but by the more lax County Sheriff's department. Entrepreneurs took advantage of this, and in the early 20th century the Strip soon became the hottest entertainment destination in the L.A. area, home to clubs, bars and the occasional house of ill repute. In the 1940s and 1950s its nightclubs frequently hosted the top stars of the era. Many a band across the subsequent decades rose to prominence playing joints like The Roxy, Whisky A Go Go (still going strong at 50), and the Viper Room. Throughout the world, the Strip was nearly synonymous with nightlife. So much so that, according to some, its name was cribbed by the burgeoning city of Las Vegas to title the strategic section of its main thoroughfare. For many years now, the heart of Las Vegas Boulevard has been known simply as "The Strip." The City That Sometimes Sleeps The Strip is not the only game in town for visitors. Close by is the gay mecca of West Hollywood's "Boy's Town" neighborhood, while the tiny city's location in the kernel of L.A. makes it the perfect springboard for visiting Hollywood, L.A.'s beaches, and the neighboring Beverly Hills. Kubota isn't the only company aggressively challenging Deere. AGCO (NYSE: AGCO ) has made aggressive expansion efforts in Africa, working with specialty agricultural lender Rabobank to try to help farmers on the continent buy more farming equipment. Moreover, both AGCO and CNH Global (NYSE: CNH ) have made emerging markets like Latin America a high priority, reaping benefits from the more rapidly expanding economies among Latin American nations. Historically the stock prices of Deere (DE) and other agricultural equipment firms and retailers like Case-New Holland (CNH), Titan Machinery (TITN), AGCO (AGCO), Tractor Supply (TSCO), Valmont (VAL), and Lindsay (LNN) have tended to closely track the price of corn. When corn prices go up, farmers tend to make more money, and they spend that money on new equipment from Deere and other firms. This relationship is especially strong for Deere and Corn, but it holds true for all of the stocks above to some extent.
